JCM Productions press release - 4/17/2009
Great and exciting news today! We just got the thumbs up from the Concord Pavilion that JCM Productions will be able to do a FULL day festival on or around November 7th, 2009 with “Stryper” as our headliner! We are still not 100% solid on that date but the 3 of us are all shooting for that date and working together to make it happen. We should have a solid date by next week!
This is not only JCM’s first production since 2007, but also the beginning of a fulfilled vision and dream that the Lord gave me, over 4 years ago!!
This festival will be called “Back to Basics”. An all day festival of getting believers back to the simple and basic commandments of LOVE!
Jesus replied, " 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments" (Matthew 22:37-40 NIV).
This festival will be a way to bring all walks of people together for a fun filled day of events and great music. A festival that can bring together MANY different churches and denominations to show others that we as believers CAN come together as one and be the loving people Jesus told us to be! All types of diverse music and fun things to do for the whole family but also affordable enough so that many people can and will come and see and hear God’s message of love!
JCM wants to SHOW love by donating a ton of FREE tickets for families that cannot afford to come! Not just lawn seats but some front row seats! Vouchers for some FREE food so families hit hard right now can come and SEE love by not just words, but by actions! Jesus always met people’s physical needs before he taught…… so we would to follow HIS example and do the same!
I would love to bring some of the “old school” Christian talent BACK to Contra Costa County! Perhaps, God willing…..Amy Grant, Benny Hester, Bryan Duncan, and maybe Petra just to name a few! Wouldn’t that be fantastic?!?!?!?
As I fully trust God in opening the doors and bringing the right people that HE wants at this festival, I ask for prayer in patience, for guidance, for wisdom and for keeping me calm and trusting in HIM 100% to make this all come together.
What else do we need from you?
With prayer being the MOST important, JCM also needs financial support from those who would like to be a part of “Back to Basics!
These shows are not free. They cost a big chunk of money! Rentals, talent, sound, lighting, food, etc, etc, etc. it adds up. The more talent we book, the more money we have to come up with so here’s what we are looking for.
* Financial sponsors, who want to bring a festival of God’s Love to Contra Costa County.
* People who want to support something “outside” of the box and NOT normal!
* People who love God and want to make a difference in our community.
* People who are willing to stand and believe that with God, all things are possible!
* People who want to see souls moved and saved thru positive music and atmosphere.
* People who want to see the Concord Pavilion do a positive Christian event once again!!!!

Any money we make or receive for this, will go 100% into doing this event or a future event or in supporting others who have a vision to also further God’s Kingdom thru positive music! No money will be kept for personal gains whatsoever! This is a chance for us to make a difference, not a time to make a profit!
